Meet Dr. Sarah Wilkinson
From a young age, Dr. Sarah knew she wanted to help animals. In high school, she began working at a local animal hospital, starting in the kennels and eventually becoming the head technician. Initially, veterinary school seemed like the obvious path—until she saw firsthand the power of chiropractic care and holistic wellness for both humans and animals.
“At the animal hospital, we focused on preventive care—raw food diets, chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture for pets. I saw incredible improvements in their health, including my own animals. I realized that natural care could achieve results that traditional medicine often couldn’t.”
Wanting to learn more about neurology, nutrition, and the spine, Dr. Sarah set her sights on chiropractic school.
A Personal Health Revelation
Raised in Ypsilanti, Dr. Sarah attended Eastern Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2006. But during her senior year, she faced a health struggle that reshaped her understanding of well-being.
“I was constantly exhausted. My primary care doctor diagnosed me with depression, but that didn’t feel right—I’d always been a happy person. Then, a chiropractor performed Nutrition Response Testing® and found I had aluminum toxicity. Through whole foods, supplements, and dietary changes, I felt like myself again.”
That experience solidified her belief in the body’s ability to heal with the right support.

Educating people on how to care for their bodies—whether two-legged or four-legged—is what I love most. When given the right tools, the body is designed to heal itself without relying on medications or surgery.”

Life Beyond the Office
When she’s not at the practice, Dr. Sarah and her husband spend much of their time homeschooling their three children, Rory, Jaxon, and Brady. Rory received his first adjustment at just four hours old and began Nutrition Response Testing at four days old. Their two dogs, Bishop and Journey, also thrive on a raw food diet and regular chiropractic care.
